What is the REAL cost?
Your start-up costs for a freight broker business will run generally less than $3,100 including our training fee.
(Because of the trust fund requirements and which training program you take, your start-up costs will vary).
But generally, here is the breakdown:
- Motor carrier number - $300 one time fee
- BOC-3 - $40 one time fee
- UCR - $39 annual fee
- Surety bond - $550 ($950) annual fee *
- One-on-one telephone training - $897 ($1,697) **
Total $1,826 to $3,026 depending upon the trust fund and which training program you select.
* $550 if you put up your own $10K; $950 if the finance company puts up the $10K for you.
** $897 for the Home Study with limited support; $$1,697 for the training with UNlimited support.
These are actually relatively very, very low start-up costs compared to the potential income that you can generate.
But, it is necessary to know these costs beforehand and to do what is necessary to prepare yourself.
But do you know the REALLY devestating cost involved in this business? It's THE COST OF DOING NOTHING.
The potential cost of doing nothing may be far greater than the actual cost of going into business.
Does this make sense to you? It's one of the ways you can estimate what the real cost is for taking (or not taking) a
certain course of action.
In our training, we'll give you the straight scoop and tools that will help you maximize your actual income.
